One Day Introductory Class usually held on the second Saturday of the month. In this class you can produce a number of objects such as bowls of various shapes, coasters, wall hangings, jewellery - almost anything within the area of kiln space provided. We are generous with the materials we allow you to use in comparison with other classes. This is also the only day course in London if not the whole country to get through the same amount and often more than others manage in an entire weekend.
There is a limit of 7 people per workshop enabling faster learning
The advantage of a small class is that you can experiment with many different effects and have an experienced adviser on hand at each stage.
Areas covered : design, glass cutting, glass compatability, firing cycles, many decorative techniques.
The fusing and slumping in the kiln will take place after the workshop and the results can be collected or posted at Post Office rates. Price = £140 for the day, materials included (10:00am - 4:30pm) Pay Now and Book the date you want.
